EH Letter #2

Dearest J,

With the first sip of my morning coffee arose a question. A curiosity, really. I wondered if you ever took that vacation. I know you thought the service would not be able to spare you for so long. I always found your dedication to be both commendable and utterly foolish. But it’s what makes you you, therefore this quality is to be help dear & cherished.

With the second sip came that all too familiar feeling of loss. Amorphous and non-specific as there have been so many losses as of late. It’s troubling, to know your own roll in the leaving of all you care for. To be responsible.

With the third sip, I hope you can forgive me.
